What makes Ohio a visitor’s choice as a vacation destination? What does it take to draw visitors to the state and the area? Mary Cusick, Director of TourismOhio, leads the state’s efforts to brand and market Ohio as a compelling travel destination. At the next meeting of the Marion Women’s Business Council, she will share distinct assets of Ohio and Marion and what TourismOhio is doing to promote the state.
You are invited to join the Marion Women’s Business Council group on Monday, April 13, 2015 beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the TRECA building, 100 Executive Drive to hear more.
Attendees are asked to RSVP by Wednesday, April 8 by sending an emailed to mrn.wbc@gmail.com or by calling Elaine Evans, membership chair, at 740-389-9960, ext. 307.
Prior to Cusick’s role with TourismOhio, she spent a large part of her career at Bob Evans Farms where she was the Chief Marketing Officer. She is the Chair of the Advisory Board for Thirty-One Gifts and also serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of Ohio-based Crimson Cup Coffee and Tea.
She is a passionate volunteer, working with a variety of causes including the South Side Learning Center and Ruling our eXperiences (ROX) – empowering girls as they deal with the pressures of adolescence.
Cusick is a YWCA Woman of Achievement and an active member of the Academy of Women of Achievement. She is an Ohio native and a graduate of Miami University, and currently lives in German Village.
