Set for Monday, September 10, 11:30 a.m., Dr. Coleen Denton (Prater) is back by popular demand as the featured speaker and will again focus on the unique aspects of women’s health and wellness. This time, she’ll be bringing her husband and colleague, Dr. Tim Prater, to help cover the top topics chosen by those attending the August kickoff event.

Specializing in Acupuncture, Nutrition and Chiropractic, Denton is a state licensed Chiropractic Acupuncturist. Practicing since 2009, Denton holds a number of degrees including a Doctorate in Chiropractic, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Health and Sport Studies, as well nearly 500 hours in post-graduate continuing education. Denton is a member of the State of Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Disability Evaluators Panel and is a State of Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation Certified Provider. She also belongs to the American Chiropractic Association, Ohio State Chiropractic Association, National University of Health Sciences Alumni Association, Council of Chiropractic Acupuncture, and the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncturists.
Dr. Tim Prater is a Michigan native who graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Health Sciences. He continued on to National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois for his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Prater moved to Marion in 2013 to marry Dr. Coleen Denton and join the practice after practicing in Michigan since 2007. Dr. Prater has focused his practice and continuing education in rehabilitation and orthopedics work, and plans on next becoming a Chiropractic Sports Physician. Dr. Prater is a DNS certified Trainer, as well as CrossFit L1 certified and an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. When not in the clinic, he helps train local athletes and competes in CrossFit.
All 2017-2018 luncheon events will held in the Guthery Room at Maynard Hall on the Ohio State University at Marion campus, with a price of $13 per lunch with the exception of the March Athena award presentation. Guests are always welcome with an RSVP.
The Marion Women’s Business Council’s mission is to inspire women to reach their full potential through mentoring, networking, education, and recognition.
